I am an award-winning creative photographer of over 25 years. I have exhibited internationally, curated exhibitions and collaborated with collectives and artists.
The majority of my work is taken on 35mm cinematic film using lofi cameras, or using camera-less techniques and processes. As a nature enthusiast my work centres predominantly on pockets of peace and quiet in built up cities. Recurring themes include faceless portraits, botanicals behind glass and nature intertwined with plastics and other pollutants. A South London resident for almost 20 years, a good proportion of my work is made locally. During 2020 the natural world came more sharply into focus. With restrictions placed on movement, I found myself slowing down and getting closer to beautiful things, often cropping out the clutter and pollutants around them.
My pictures, projects and commissions have featured in The Guardian, ICA gallery, Tate Britain, The Independent newspaper and the New York Times.
