Creating a dramatic, uplifting, poetical event from the theme of death; you will also find laughter and reflection, insight and provocation. Southbank Mosaics are the host, in collaboration with Gabriel Fine Art. Welcome to William Blake’s Lambeth ... and death is our theme. An afternoon of song with the folk duo Sarah Lloyd and Ian Kennedy, The Rye Poets will be reading from their Death Collection, SLWA artist Beata Kozlowska will be creating a performative drawing and tea and cake will follow with a special Death Cafe led by Compassionate Funerals. To end the daySouthbank Mosaics will be holding a live art auction.


This special event coincides with South London Women Artists Death and Transition exhibition at Gabriel Fine Art 17 April to 1 May 2015 Tuesday to Saturday 10am-6pm.
