The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA), located in Washington D.C., brings recognition to the achievements of women artists of all periods and nationalities by exhibiting, preserving, acquiring and researching art by women, and by educating the public about their accomplishments.
Friends of the NMWA, UK is part of a growing international network of affiliates that seeks to promote women’s contributions to the arts worldwide. The UK charity supports and advances women in the arts, past and present, with a connection to the UK.
